SD BRIN Awarded Continuation Grant from National Institutes of Health


Vermillion, SD - The South Dakota Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network (SD BRIN) has been awarded a $16.92 million five year continuation grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  This grant continues NIH's long-term support provided to SD BRIN since 2002.  SD BRIN is directed by Barbara E. Goodman, Ph.D., and includes seven partner institutions: 

  • Augustana University
  • Black Hills State University
  • Dakota Wesleyan University
  • Mount Marty University
  • University of Sioux Falls
  • Sisseton Wahpeton College
  • Oglala Lakota College

2020 SD BRIN Convocation - Panel Discussions


2020 SD BRIN Undergraduate Research Fellows Virtual Convocation - Panel Discussions

Panel Discussions will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 

  • 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Mountain Time
  • 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Central Time

Panel Session Information

Video presentations are arranged by topic.  Each panel discussion will run approximately 20-25 minutes, with 5-10 minutes to transistion.  Panels will start promptly on the hour and on the half hour.  Panel moderators will send Zoom links to panel members by September 4, 2020.  An updated table with Zoom links for each panel session will also be emailed by September 4, 2020 for access by attendees.

  • Students must serve as panelists in the session that contains their video poster number.
  • Students must attend 4 panel sessions (both assigned and chosen sessions)
  • Faculty/Staff may attend any sessions they wish.  We ask that you attend at least 3.
